Most sessions are booked online, or via email. We communicate in writing what your needs are, and I try to keep everything written so I can keep track of our conversation.
initial meeting
I will ask your for your email address, phone number and full name. A deposit is always due to secure your spot, due upon request and I will send an invoice with a contract of services.
ready to book
Take the time to plan out your outfits, so there isn't a panic on the day of your session! If you need recommendations, just ask me! I'm happy to help. Map out your location, or discuss the location with me prior so we're on the same page.
prepping for your shoot
We get to meet! I may visit for a few minutes to chat, get to know you and your children if you have any. Once we're all comfortable, I take the lead and will direct you through posing and expression.
your session day
In 3-4 weeks, you will receive an emailed online gallery from me once I'm finished your images. From there you select your favourites, and download them directly or have me send them to you. Any print products or USB sticks can be ordered through me. It's so simple!

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Neutral tones, earth tones, natural fibres that are flattering on the body. If doing a print, make it subtle and only have one subject wear one. Avoid bright colours, pure white, neon or any other vibrant colour as it will not edit well in your final gallery. Avoid running shoes. Add accessories! scarves, hats, bracelets, statement earrings all go a long way when it comes to styling your session!
WHY DON’T YOU RELEASE ALL OF THE PHOTOS YOU TAKE?
I'll always make it a priority to show you every single image I feel is in line with my work and is a quality image. Part of my job is to take your session and weed out the images that aren't quite up to snuff such as blinking eyes, over/under exposure, blurriness etc so you can take more time to focus on the incredible shots we did capture!
DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Yes. All of my images go through my regular editing flow and include skin retouching where necessary.
IS STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY AVAILABLE?
Yes. I have a beautiful studio that was freshly built this year, located in my garage!
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
I always try to aim for 3 weeks turnaround, however life happens! so I will always tell you 4 weeks in case something slows me down.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
You may reschedule more than 48 hours before your session. Failure to do so will result in you losing your deposit given for that appointment.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Same goes for this as rescheduling. You may change or cancel your booking more than 48 hours before your session. Failure to do so will result in loss of your deposit.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
It depends on what package you're purchasing. Please visit my investment page to see what each session includes.
WHY DO YOU RECOMMEND THAT I PRINT THROUGH YOU?
We do this because we cannot guarantee what the colouring will look like if you go to a retail store for your printing. They're all different, and have different machines which in some cases will auto correct colour when it isn't needed, leaving you with super strange hues and inaccurate tones..
WHAT TIME OF DAY SHOULD WE SCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
For newborns, I suggest mid morning. It seems that babies are much happier at this time! for family and maternity, on location I would only shoot during sunset or low light in the morning. You get more consistent light, and no harsh sun!
